| PI Vision Installation and Administration Guide | PI Vision™ user manual from AVEVA |
Introduction
The EW Event Table widget displays, in tabular format within a PI Vision display, the list of event frames linked to the elements selected by the Tree Event widget. It works over a defined interval or in Stand-alone configuration.
PI Vision from AVEVA, available since 2017, enables viewing real‑time data from the PI Data Archive and data organized in assets from the AVEVA Asset Framework (PI AF).
To access PI Vision displays, simply navigate to:
https://webServer/PIVision (replace “webServer” with the correct name of the webserver machine)
The widget is supported on modern HTML5-compatible browsers on computers, tablets, and phones running Android and iOS.
Configuration in PI Vision is intuitive – simply drag-and-drop the control into the display.

Functionality and use
Below is an example of selecting the Event Table in the interval synchronized with the PI Vision display. In the table, the following columns are shown:
| Title | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Start date | Corresponds to the time (date and time) of the beginning of the event. |
| End date | If not empty, indicates the time (date and time) when the event ended. |
| Template | The name of the Event Frame template. |
| Trend | Direct link to a previously configured display with a Trend plot of data. |
| Table | Direct link to a previously configured display with a data table. |
| Link | Direct link to a URL or an external page. |
The table rows can be sorted by clicking on any column header.
